INIC Preschool Round Rock & Austin provides year-round full-curriculum education for children ages three months to five years old.

Research shows bilingual children have higher math, reading, emotional, and analytical skills, and are better multi-taskers. Every INIC Preschool class is in Spanish, every day. Most students are only exposed to English before INIC, but they easily learn Spanish and quickly become bilingual.

Teachers are loving and highly experienced, and all families have access to INIC’s high-tech tools for parents so you can check in on your little scholar throughout the day.

INIC’s Wonderful Welcome Experience

Being the new kid can bring excitement and jitters — and parents have their own concerns, too! INIC's detailed welcome plan ensures that every new student has an incredible first day.

Program Results

  • Sense of Belonging: Students make connections with new friends and feel special, safe, and confident

  • Navigating New Territory: Students become familiar with teachers, classroom, common areas, and routine

  • Making Friends & Inclusion: Classes participate in valuable lessons about friendship and empathy

Before the First Day: Meet the Teacher Event

  • Student meets their new community - classmates, teachers, admin staff

  • Exploration of campus areas to familiarize the child with their new surroundings

  • Cubby setup, complete with personal belongings and family photo in their Safe Place

  • Emphasis on a relaxed experience — kids are encouraged to take their time and get comfortable

  • New students join classmates for part of the curriculum, including Magic Circle

  • Parents receive a detailed schedule of their child’s new routine

  • Parents learn about open, accessible communication channels between families, administrative staff, and teachers

 

The First Day: Mi Primer Día

  • Classmates present a greeting card they all decorated for the new student

  • Welcome sign with the new student’s name

  • Classmates sing a welcome song or rhyme

  • Charming “First Day of School” headband for that special extra touch

  • Lots of emotional support, ensuring positive relationships from day one

  • Parents receive daily updates about their child’s progress, experience, and mood on INIC’s communication app, Brightwheel

  • While at work, parents can see how their student is doing by checking INIC’s WatchMeGrow app
